How WiT Money makes money

Comparison pages, guides and calculators are free to read. No provider is paying WiT Money for a placement at the moment. If that changes, it will be labelled.

Updated 30 October 2026.

WiT Money does not charge you to read a page or use a calculator. The site does not add a fee on top of a bank charge, a premium or an interest rate.

The WiT Money UK website says that edition may receive a commission or a referral fee. That sentence is about witmoney.co.uk. It is not treated as a commercial arrangement for witmoney.co.za. This website has no affiliate redirect, no sponsored label and no paid ranking.

A provider may later pay a fee for a referral or a labelled sponsored placement on this website. No such agreement is recorded for South Africa, and no provider is shown as a commercial partner.

How providers are shown

A provider can be explained without paying. Payment would not be a reason to hide a fee or a risk. Comparisons are currently ordered by provider name, not by who pays. A missing price is left blank. It is not shown as zero, and it is not treated as the cheapest.

If a provider pays later

If a provider later pays for a placement, that placement will be labelled Sponsored. It may be shown ahead of the other results. It is not described as our ranking.

Advertising

There are no display advertisements on the site. If an advertisement is added later, it will be labelled and kept separate from the comparison order.

What you should still do

Check the current fee, rate or premium with the provider. A page on this site is not a quotation and not an approval.
